Some background......" Since its debut in 1964, Ford's Mustang has set the standard for American specialty sports cars. With its aggressive styling, high performance and affordable price, the original Mustang immediately captured the hearts of automotive enthusiasts everywhere. In 1993, Ford unveiled the 6th generation Mustang. This new car provides the tastes of earlier models, in a modern way. Its massive looking aerodynamic body styling features the galloping horse emblem on its grille, C-shaped air intake scoops on the sides, and three-bar tail lamps at the rear. Inside, the original "Dual Cockpit" concept is restored using the latest ergonomic designs. The twin cowl dashboard has driver and passenger airbags as standard equipment. A V-8 cylinder, 5 liter OHV powerplant that produces 215 horsepower at 4,200 RPM is used in the top of the line Mustang GT Convertible. This impressive engine is equipped with a state of the art, computer controlled, sequential electronic fuel injection system. Suspension consists of front McPherson struts and a rear multi-link system, using anti roll stabilizers front and rear. The rigid chassis construction provides a firm foundation for this sophisticated suspension, ensuring highly responsive handling. The convertible model has received further reinforcement, including an X-brace between the floor and the front crossmember. The car comes standard with four wheel disc brakes, with an optional anti-lock system. "........
